Greetings from Excel Vocational Center here in the South Bay of Southern California! It has been a great privilege to be amongst an eclectic group of bright individuals as we begin to reach the final stretch towards CNA certification. Although the roads that led us here originated from all walks of life, we are united by a common goal and driven towards the same destination: Success
As a student of Elijah’s modified nursing program, I was able to learn first hand about what it takes to not only become a competent, caring and confident CNA, but to be a competent, caring and confident individual ready to succeed universally, and that is the genius to the method. it should come as no surprise to anyone the vast amount of CNA programs offered at various colleges and vocational centers, but what really sets Excel apart is again, its method.
As a former journalism major, ive had more than my share of lectures, pop quizes, midterms, finals and so on. Did they help? Well, yes and no. Obviously one has to study in order to do well in any exam, so yes, they help by making one read the material in one form or another, but there in lies the problem. The basic college exam, be they multiple choice, open essay, etc., is simply a snapshot of where the student is at that certain point. Let me be the first to admit that after a test, the last thing i want to do is spend one more second on said topic.
What makes Elijah Nacionales’s POPPPSS Educational System different is that it reinforces our basic learning skills in order to provide a strong base and build from there. Problem solving, logical analysis, and plain ol’ repetition are just a few of the techniques used.
